GM may have to take a loss on early runs of vehicles equipped with its upcoming Two Mode hybrid propulsion system in an effort to make the vehicles more attractive to customers. According to a recent report in Automotive News, the initial cost of the system is north of $10,000, a premium few customers will likely to be willing to pay.
